Fall Cleanup Days

Trash dumpsters will be at the Vernon Township garage on Ed Jones Road from around 7 am Thursday, October 16 until Saturday evening, October 18, or until the dumpster limit has been reached, whichever comes first. There will be NO tire dumpsters. These are for Vernon Township residents only. Township employees and officials will be at the garage around the clock to monitor the dumpsters. You must show proof of residency in Vernon Township. No car/truck batteries, freon, motor oil or liquid waste such as paint and hazardous materials. No refrigerators, freezers, or air conditioners. No one will be permitted to go inside the dumpsters. Questions - call 740-574-9779.

Reminder: There will be a limited number of dumpsters available. Once the dumpster limit has been reached, no more dumpsters will be dropped off even if they are all filled before Saturday evening.
